The Capacity Core Workshop
A clinically informed burnout prevention and recovery workshop for organisations, grounded in the Heal Well Method™.
Helping employees recognise when capacity is becoming depleted, understand what prolonged pressure is doing to their health and build practical strategies for recovery and sustainable performance.
What Is The Capacity Core Workshop?
The Capacity Core Workshop is FemExec Wellness's flagship organisational workshop and a group application of the Heal Well Method™. It helps employees understand burnout through a recovery and rehabilitation lens, recognise when their capacity is becoming depleted and identify what may need to change before strain progresses into prolonged absence, burnout or loss of performance. Rather than simply teaching people how to cope with pressure, The Capacity Core Workshop explores what sustained pressure without sufficient recovery can do to energy, sleep, cognition, emotional wellbeing, the nervous system and the ability to function well both at work and outside it. Participants leave with greater insight into their own capacity, practical recovery strategies and a clearer understanding of how to protect their health while continuing to perform sustainably.
The Capacity Core Workshop can be commissioned as a standalone workshop, combined with a Workforce Wellbeing Clinic Day, or incorporated into a wider workforce health, burnout prevention and recovery programme.
The workshop provides exactly the kind of practical, science-led support that helps teams feel genuinely equipped and prepared, not just informed.
Client experience
Practical support that leaves teams equipped, not just informed.
The Capacity Core Workshop combines evidence-informed education, guided reflection and practical recovery strategies employees can apply in real life. It helps people move beyond simply knowing what burnout is, towards understanding their own capacity, recognising when recovery is no longer keeping pace with demand and knowing what they can do next.
Who Is It For?
Organisations whose teams are working under sustained pressure
Teams experiencing high workload, change or increasing demands
Leaders who want to protect workforce capacity before burnout takes hold
HR, People, Wellbeing and Occupational Health teams seeking meaningful, evidence-informed intervention
Understanding What Burnout Is Doing to the Body
One of the foundations of both The Capacity Core Workshop and the Heal Well Method™ is that burnout cannot be understood only as a problem of mindset, motivation or resilience. When pressure continues without sufficient recovery, capacity can begin to change across several areas. Sleep may become less restorative. Energy falls. Concentration and decision-making become harder. Emotional reserves become depleted and the nervous system may remain on high alert, even when the person desperately wants to rest. This is why someone can still be working, leading, meeting deadlines and appearing highly capable while their ability to recover is quietly deteriorating. Many people approaching burnout are already extremely resilient. Their ability to keep going can be one reason their depletion remains hidden for so long.
The Capacity Core Workshop does not simply ask already stretched employees to become more resilient. It helps them recognise what their body and current capacity may already be telling them and introduces practical ways to begin restoring recovery.
Recovery before resilience.
What Employees Experience
Understanding burnout and capacity
Employees understand what prolonged pressure without sufficient recovery can do to the body, brain, emotions and performance, and why burnout can develop while someone is still functioning.
Recognising their own pattern
Through guided reflection and the FemExec Wellness Capacity & Recovery Self-Check, participants identify patterns across energy, cognition, emotional wellbeing, nervous system and life load.
Building practical recovery
Employees identify realistic recovery actions, boundaries and daily and weekly recovery anchors that can be applied alongside the demands of real working life.
